Chief Executive Officer Teresa Jacobsson is the founder of JW Industries Group (JWIG). With over 25 years of experience in business development, risk and change management, operations, and strategic planning, she specializes in modernizing processes and driving efficiency. Her expertise in professional and industrial services contracting aligns with federal priorities for streamlining government operations and advancing technology-driven solutions. Before founding JWIG, she held leadership roles in ANCSA corporations and Tribal entities, leading modernization initiatives and operational improvements. With 15+ years of experience in the SBA 8(a) Program, including the 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program, she brings deep expertise in federal acquisition, compliance, and strategic efficiency, supporting a new focus on technology modernization and process optimization.
Ms. Jacobsson has demonstrated a passion in serving the community throughout her career and mentors women survivors of trauma. Her credentials include serving as director with the Alaska Humanities Forum, Beans Cafe, the Alaska Chapter for the National Contract Management Association, and the Eva Foundation. Ms. Jacobsson is also founder and chair of the Alaska Women’s Leadership Forum, the Jacobsson Foundation, and the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association (she received an Emmy nomination for producing the documentary short I am a Tribal Administrator: Diomede).

Chief Financial Officer Karen Hartke is a versatile business professional specializing in financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency. She brings extensive experience in strategic financial oversight, risk management, and process improvement, ensuring streamlined operations and effective service delivery. With a strong foundation in audit and regulatory compliance, she provides expert technical support in GAAP and single-audit compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley standards, audit review, financial reconciliation, reporting, and investment and settlement trust management. Her ability to optimize financial workflows, enhance data integrity, and implement best practices supports organizational success and accountability.

She supported a multi-year USAF DOD contract with ARAMARK, overseeing financial reporting and providing direct support to the NAF contracting officer. She has also provided joint venture contract support for federal operations and accounting with ANCSA corporations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and modernization in financial processes. Her expertise in government contracting, financial systems integration, and regulatory compliance aligns with federal priorities for financial modernization, transparency, and operational efficiency.
